- HDR Students: Encouraged to apply. Discuss the application with your Chief Investigator (CI) or supervisor first, and include their name in your submission.
- Minimum Request: 250,000 Service Units (SUs) per quarter (equivalent to one Setonix CPU node or a single AMD MI250x GPU GCD).
- More Information: Visit the Fast Track Access Scheme page.
Eligibility & Submission Rules
- Who can apply: HDR students and Monash researchers based at Australian campuses.

- Excessive unused allocation by the end of the term may reduce the likelihood of receiving a future allocation. Researchers are encouraged to plan their compute and data needs carefully.
- Excessive unused allocation mid-term may be reclaimed and returned to the resource pool unless valid assurance is provided that it will be used before the end of the term.
- Pawsey does not currently support sensitive data. Applications involving sensitive data will be automatically rejected. Please get in touch with Monash eResearch if you require resources for processing sensitive data.
- All applications must be endorsed by the Monash eResearch HPC Advisory Committee. Requests made directly to the Pawsey Help Desk will be rejected and may affect eligibility for future allocation
- If your application is endorsed, you will be notified by email. You must then complete a full application on the Pawsey website. Details of the full application process will be sent in the confirmation email.
- Applications submitted past cutoff deadlines will not be considered.
- You must acknowledge the Pawsey Fast Track Allocation Scheme in all relevant theses, conference papers, and peer-reviewed publications resulting from the use of the Pawsey Fast Track Allocation Scheme.
